Rob Woodson - hoping to come back overseas after season in ABA

Many players are hoping to come to play overseas after graduating. Rob Woodson had that opportunity, grabbed it, but after three solid seasons in Europe last one he spent at ABA team Detroit Network.
Now he is hoping for another chance and here is his quick resume!

Rob Woodson is 180 cm (5'11'' ft) tall Point Guard from the USA. He graduated on Grand Valley State University, played total of 92 games in NCAA Division 2. 

Rob has a three years of experience overseas. Started his international career in Denmark, playing Top Ligaen basketball for Vaerlose in 2014/15 season. Next season he moved to Ukrainian Superleague team Kremen, staying there for a season and half, playing Semifinals of Ukranian Championship and Ukranian Cup in 2016. Rob finished 2016/17 season in Republic of Georgia, playing 19 games for Sokhumi.

Currently, Rob is a member of Detroit Network, playing in the United States ABA League.

His statistycal best European season was his first overseas season. He then averaged 15,1 points, 5,2 rebounds, 4,5 assists and 2,0 steals per game. Playing on higher level basketball in Ukraine, he averaged his best 12,6 points, 4,3 rebounds, 4,8 assists and 2,9 (!!!) steals per game on 49,4% shooting from the field.



Playing style
Rob has a nice basketball body. He possesses good muscularity, agility and quickness.
Uses his quick first step when penetrating under the rim, finishing lay-ups with his both hands. Has very various finishing repertoire, whether he penetrates with one-two step, shooting stepbacks or threes. Likes to shoot the threes when coming out of Pick'n'Roll setups.
Rob is very good passer, having some attractive solutions when assisting the ball to a player in better position. He is also great rebounder for his size, averaging 3,4 rebounds through his career.
Uses his solid 188 cm (6'2'' ft) wingspan and very quick hands to get his steal. He averages 1,4 steals through his career. He is solid ball-handler with 0,96 ST/TO Ratio and 2,05 AST/TO Ratio through his 167 career games.
