Playing for Ugandan side City Oilers, Jordin Mayes averaged 13,1 points, 2,6 rebounds and 3,0 assists per game. He is 190 cm tall Shooting Guard born 1991. After graduating at University of Arizona back in 2014, he played Semi-Pro basketball in the United States, before moving to Nigerian side City Stars at the beggining of 2017.
Jordin is solid 3 point shooter with 35,1% efficiency durg his four years with Wildcats. His quick and long first step helps him drive effectively, especially to his right side. He possesses good agility and he is not affraid of contact and hustle plays. Jordin has quick hands and with his correct defensive stand he can act as solid defender.

Angelo Warner appeared for Ferroviario Beira at the competition, averaging 12,5 points, 4,5 rebounds, 3,8 assists and 2,6 steals per game. Really good all-round plays by this 188 cm Point Guard from Morehead State.
After finishing playing with Mozambique team, Angelo moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina side Vogošća and there he improved his numbers to 20,7 points, 4,6 rebounds, 7,7 assists and 2,6 steals per game. Really succesful season for Angelo after spending two years playing American ABA League for Jacksonville Giants and Daytona Beach Sharks and Cypriot National League side Mapfree.
Angelo is real offensive threat. He can score out of pull-up jumpers or catch and shoot situations. He likes to play attractive, can dunk in variety of ways and have some attractive passing repertoire. He is athletic enough to defend multiple positions and his decent footwork and quick hands help him gain steals.

A.J. Matthews is 208 cm Center that played for ES Rades on tournament, averaging 12,7 points, 7,3 rebounds and 2,1 blocks while shooting 70,4% from the floor. He played one solid European year with Lithuanian side Juventus, before moving to African continent.
He is really good post player, with solid low-post moves and great finishing from the paint. He always gives everything from himself defensively, which makes him great blocker, but also foul proned.

The best player out of those mentioned is Kyle Vinales. He is current member of Caciques de Humacao, which is his third Puertorican team in last four years. Former Central Connecticut graduate played for Tunisian side US Monastir at the competition. With 21,5 points per game he was second in scoring at the entire competition. Adding 3,4 rebounds, 5,3 assists and 2,3 steals per game made him one of the best players there.
This 185 cm Point Guard can score from all over the floor. He is quick enough, has great motor and quick first step. He is agressive defender, with quick hands and good anticipation abling him to collect solid amount of steals. Definetly the best player at African Champions Cup 2017!
