Recap of Alexela KML regular season

Regular season of Estonian basketball top division - Alexela KML, came to its end this weekend.
First placed and top favorite team Kalev/Crame finished the season with 25 wins and only one loss. Just behind them with score 19-7 is Tartu Ulikool. Those two teams don't play in Quarterfinals and expecting their opponents in Semifinals.

Third-placed Rapla will face sixth TLU/Kalev, while Valga will meet Parnu in Quarterfinals, beginning April 17th.

Season is over for bottom placed teams TTU Tallin (6-22)  and Noorteliiga (0-14).

Now, let's get on to some individual appereances....
Top scorer for this season is Nolan Cressler, 195 cm tall Shooting Guard born 1994. This Vanderbilt graduate plays his first overseas season, scoring 17,8 points per game on 50,4% shooting for Rapla in KML, while adding 5,3 rebounds, 3,4 assists and 1,2 steals per game!

His teammate and Kentucky graduate Dominique Hawkins follows him with 16,4 points per game. This 183 cm tall Point Guard came to Rapla from Danish side Horsens, where he started his professional career back in October 2017.

Another American player had great individual season in this Baltic country. Levi Giese from TTU Tallin finished the season as 3rd in scoring (16,1 per game) and first in rebounding (9,4 per game). This 206 cm tall Power Forward was one of the most precise players in the league, shooting 52,6% from the floor and 43,7% for three.



217 cm giant Bamba Fall from TLU/Kalev follows him in rebounding with 8,4 boards per game, while this 1986 born Senegalese leads the league in blocks, with 2,1 per game.

Another Wildcats last year graduate, Isaiah Briscoe from leading side Kalev/Cramo closes the Top 5 for this season. This 191 cm Combo Guard finished the regular season with 16,1 points ($th in league), 3,7 rebounds, 4,1 assists (3rd) and 2,1 steals (league leader) in just under 24 minutes playing time per game.

Amongst domestic players, Kristjan Kitsing is seventh in scoring with 15,0 points per game, Rain Raadik landed on number four in rebounding with 7,4 boards per game, Tanel Sokk is league's top assistant with 5,8 dishes per game, Martin Dorbek placed himself third in steals with 1,7 per game, while one of most talented Estonian kids Matthias Tass averaged 1,9 blocks per game, enough to be second placed.
