Recap and Top 5 players in Croatian Premijer liga

Regular season has ended in Croatian top division of basketball - Premijer liga. Cedevita and Zadar both ended season with only one loss - to each other, but Cedevita won the first place with total of +569 basket difference, against Zadar's +477.

Cibona ended the season on third place with 18-6 score, followed by Split and Šibenik both with 16 wins and 8 losses. Škrljevo, Zabok and eighth seeded Vrijednosnice Osijek entered the playoffs.

Tough relegation battle were beaten between last six teams, but all was known before the last round of regular season. Alkar and Hermes Analitica stayed in the league, both with 7-17 score, while Jazine-Arbanasi, Ribola Kaštela and Zagreb faced relegation.

Total of 25.152 points were scored during the competition, which is 161,23 points per match. Zadar scored most points - 2.266 or 94,42 per match, while Ribola Kaštela only scored 70,67 points per match, which is total of 1.696. Cedevita had the best defense with 1.584 points recieved, while Zagreb with 2.322 points recieved had the most hollow defence.

Starting 5:
Luka Žorić was league's top rebounder with 8,3 rebounds per game and while being second in scoring (18,3 ppg) and blocks (1,1 bpg) he defenitely deserved the MVP award. This is the third time that 211 cm tall Center is playing for Cibona, which is only one of 14 teams he's been playing during his professional career, including Unicaja Malaga and Fenerbahce.

Despite his Zagreb being relegated, Ante Krapić must be included in Starting 5 lineup as he was league's top scorer with 19,6 points per game. This 203 cm Power Forward shot 53% from the field and 43% behind the 3 point line, while adding solid 5,3 rebounds, 2,2 assists and 1,3 steals per game.

Small Forward with best season behind was Davor Konjević. Škrljevo leader was third scorer in the league with 17,8 points per game. He also took fifth place in steals (1,6 per game) and tenth in rebounds (5,8 per game).

DaJuan Graf from Alkar had very good rookie overseas season with 15,5 points (4th place), 4,5 rebounds, 4,7 assists (6th) and 2,0 steals (2nd in league). 183 cm graduate from North Carolina Central denied every critics with his game, becoming Alkar's fans favorite player.
Michaelyn Scott is standing next to him in Guard spot, with 15,0 (7th in league) points, 3,3 assists, 5,0 assists (3rd) and 1,4 steals per game. Split had solid season with 185 cm tall Scott leading them in scoring, assists and steals.
