The best Centers at FIBA U17 World Cup 2018

FIBA U17 World Cup just ended in Argentina, with USA dominating the competition with 53 points margin per game!
Fantastic competition played by young Americans was crowned with Gold medal and their Guard Jalen Green winning the MVP Award.
But today, we will present best 5 centers during the competition.

Oumar Ballo was voted in tournament's All-First Team with 20,6 points, 16,9 rebounds, 1,6 assists and 1,3 blocks on really good 55% shooting, which made him top rebounder and second scorer of the tournament. Best individual game of the tournament was Oumar's 32 points and same number of rebounds against Dominican Republic.


Kai Sotto is Philippines' brightest prospect. This 216 cm tall 2002 born Center. Sotto averaged double-double figures during the competition with 16,4 points, 10,6 rebounds and 2,3 blocks.

Boqiao Jiao is 209 cm tall Chinese center from Shanxi Brave Dragons. Boqiao played all seven games, but only 10 minutes with zero points in last game against Egypt. With 12,3 points and 8,6 rebounds per game he was Chinese second scorer and top rebounder.

Alperen Sengun led Turkey in rebounding and was second in scoring with 15,9 points and 12,3 rebounds per game, while shooting 58% from the floor and his national team won 5th place at the end.


Luke Jackson already played serious team basketball for Willetton Tigers in Australian State League, averaging 6,5 points and 6,5 rebounds per game. During U17 World Cup he had 13,7 points, 13,7 rebounds and 2,0 assists per game on very good 51% shooting from the field, being Australian leading scorer and rebounder.
