FIBA U18 European Championship held in Chemnitz, Germany finished on Sunday with Israelian youngsters winning the title, after 80:66 victory against Croatia in finals.

There were dozens of good players at this competition, but this particular 10 guys stood out from the rest.

Yovel Zoosman, 199 cm tall Israeli Swingman won the MVP award. He averaged 14,4 points, 4,7 rebounds, 3,6 assists and 2,3 steals per game during the competition. This great young all-rounder already played 50 games this season for Israeli giant Maccabi Tel Aviv, 14 of those games in Europe's greatest competition - Euroleague.

Despite his team won only 14th place, Elijah Clarance from Sweden is definately a Shooting Guard worth seeing. Elijah was competition's top scorer with 22,4 points per game and adding 6,4 rebounds, 2,7 assists and 1,9 steals. This 195 cm tall youngster finished his Freshmen year at Illinois State.

Power Forward Miloš Popović from Montenegro was top rebounder and second in scoring in entire competition, with averages of 21,0 points and 11,4 rebounds per game, but what is poking in the eye is his 3 point shooting percentage - 63%, scoring 14 times out of 22 attempts!

Lithuanian Bigman Gytis Masiulis averaged 18,3 points, 9,0 rebounds and 1,4 blocks per game during the competition, but his team won only 9th place. But, being 3rd in scoring and rebounding and 4th in blocks, gives him prove to be amongst 10 best players of the competition. Masiulis already played 48 games this season for Zalgiris in LKL and Euroleague.

Croatia won Silver medal and their best player was Mate Kalajžić. Nothing unexpected for someone who knows Croatian basketball, as this Split player has over 100 appereances at Premijer Liga and ABA 2 League. Kalajzic plays best as Combo Guard and during this competition he averaged 13,9 points, 5,6 rebounds and 2,0 assists per game.

Kostja Mushidi was Germany's best player. Host nation won 3rd place at the end, while this Mega Bemax Shooting Guard averaged 13,6 points, 3,7 rebounds and 2,0 assists. Not big numbers, but his contribution on the floor was much bigger than just numbers.

Another Power Forward is Serbian Miloš Glišić. This 205 cm tall prospect already played for Serbia at seven youth competitions, collecting 47 games! During this competition, Miloš shot with fantastic 68% efficiency, averaging 11,6 points and 8,0 rebounds per game.

Turkish Center Ragip Berke Atar was his team's top scorer, rebounder and blocker. He led Turkey to 5th place with 15,1 points, 6,7 rebounds, 0,9 blocks and 64% shooting from the floor. 211 cm tall Ragip collected 12 games for Turkish side Banvit this previous season.

Israel deserved to have two players on this list and second guy is Michael Mor Brisker, 183 cm tall Combo Guard from Maccabi Raanana. He was winner's top scorer with 15,3 points per game, while adding 3,9 rebounds and 2,9 assists. He shot with great efficiency behind the 3 point line - 42%.

As being competiton's best assistant with 6,4 assists per game, Spanish Point Guard Pol Figueras deserved to be placed on this list. He was also very rational with his shots, finnishing with 40% for 3 and overall 55% from the floor.
